A Platform for Scientific Exchange
The MENAPEDS ISPAD Metabolic Summit & Academy will bring together expertise in pediatric metabolic health, including obesity, diabetes and dyslipidemia.
The Summit provides a platform for scientific exchange, discussion and collaboration among clinicians, researchers and healthcare professionals.
What Can You Submit?
We welcome submissions in the following categories.
Case Reports
Interesting, educational or challenging clinical cases relevant to pediatric metabolic health.
Research Studies
Original clinical, translational, epidemiological, quality-improvement or related research.
Your Abstract Could Open the Door to Dubai
The first 60 accepted abstracts from candidates who are 45 years old or younger qualify for sponsored event attendance, subject to the stated eligibility and selection conditions.
Who Can Apply?
Applications will be considered from MENAPEDS members.
Non-members who wish to apply should register through MENAPEDS membership.
Fair distribution of spaces will be made across different countries, with consideration given to the number of applications from each country.

Sponsored Attendance
For eligible accepted candidates, the sponsored attendance package includes registration, accommodation at the academy venue, meals and visa charges where applicable.
Applicants may also be awarded a travel allowance reimbursement according to the itinerary and fixed budget for an economy-class flight.
